Tad Stacey Writes:

There has been a lot of talk in the news lately about the weak dollar. Comparisons to the Euro make the dollar, and subsequently the U.S., look like limp-wristed pansies. Good news on the home front though. Finally, the people at The National Collector's Mint aren't just sitting around and taking anymore shit from naysayers who act like U.S. currency (especially uncirculated) hasn't always been, and won't always be, the best.

Presenting, "Government Authorized Non-circulating Liberian Legal Tender September 11th Commemorative" twenty-dollar bill plate. Alas, somebody decided to step up and get this thing out to the watering mouths of the public.
I know a lot of you are asking yourselves, "But what makes this commemorative plate so much better than the other things I've bought off of my television at 2:30 in the a.m.?" Well I suggest you watch the ad for yourself. Here is one of my favorite highlights:
This Coin-Certificate displays a standard $20 denomination on one side. But on the other side, it's the first time ever that two separate denominations have been used to add up to the full $20 face value – it uses 9 and 11 to commemorate the 7th anniversary of the World Trade Center tragedy.

Having to add up your denominations is not only fun, but also educational! Now nobody will forget that awesome date! And, kudos for acknowledging the 7th (that bears repeating), the 7th anniversary of the World Trade Center tragedy. Last time I checked 9/11 wasn't a celebration that required an anniversary. It wasn't born and nobody married it.

When I saw this ad, I thought it was a spoof and absolutely couldn't believe when I visited the website, that it was a real item. If there actually is someone out there that believes owning this "collector's item" is just what they need next to their wheat penny and buffalo nickel collection, they can rest assured. It comes with a certificate of authenticity, which they can show to all of those non-believers out there to prove, in fact, that they are a douche bag.

Amazing... This Stacey lady appears to have the some love of infomercials as I do. I'm still in search of a currency that demonstrates the dead children from the Oklahoma City bombings. By this new bill logic it would be the first $15 American denomination. April(4) 19th i.e. 19-4= $15. Saving America's economy one disaster at a time.

What about the 4/20 Columbine Commemorative Currency? One side has 15 dead bodies, and the other has Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold smoking a blunt. You use the $24 to buy a gun, or a bag of weed.
